This week has been so poignant and as ever the children have responded beautifully to daily worship and the journey through Holy Week. Today, we studied ‘The Last Supper’ by Leonardo Di Vinci and looked at the reactions of Jesus’s disciples as they were told that one of them would betray Jesus.
As usual, the staff have complimented worship by following on the messages in class. Children were asked to reflect upon Jesus’s mixed emotions during the week, Judas’s betrayal, Jesus’s anger when he cleansed the temple and Mary’s choice to anoint Jesus’s body before his crucifixion.
To conclude, thank you for your support this week. We fully appreciate that it may have been difficult to arrange childcare with the variations of holidays. However, we believe that this is the most important week in the Church’s year and it has been a joy to work alongside you all.
