Respect

Some of our parents and teachers have worked together, using the values you and your children identified as being important to your families, to create this charter for the family of St. Bede's.

Our three values, entitled 'worship, love and respect' underpin our overarching goal to provide the best possible learning environment.

The purpose of the charter is to support our children to be the very best they can be and achieve their full potential. Behaviour is developed through values, beliefs, attitudes and knowledge. The charter sets out standards to help us work together to create a community in which the children, staff, parents, parish, governors and visitors feel safe and happy, thereby enhancing the children's learning and development.

In order to maximise the children's potential during this critical period of their education, it is essential parents support their children's learning at home including the development of their faith, morals, social skills and emotions. We urge you to help embed this charter by contributing to the life of the school and your child's educational development.
