School Council

WHAT IS OUR SCHOOL COUNCIL?

Our School Council is a representative group of students who have been proposed and elected by their peers to represent their views and raise issues with the schools Senior Leadership Team. The school council group frequently meet helping to develop pupil voice and children's rights.

Our School Council can also propose and take forward initiatives and projects on behalf of their peers, and be involved in strategic planning and processes such as the School Development Plan, governing body meetings and staff appointments. The objective of our effective School Council is to help children and young people to provide an opportunity for our pupils to grow, enhance and discuss new suggestions on how to improve our school, also helping and supporting our local community.
