School Houses

Our school is organised into the following four houses:-

St Hilda

A woman of great energy, who was a skilled administrator and teacher. "All who knew her, called her mother, because of her outstanding devotion and grace".

St Oswald

Venerated as a warrior king who combined traditional Anglo Saxon heroism with Christian fortitude and sacrifice. He is the patron saint of soldiers, and his emblems are a head and a raven.

St Cuthbert

A monk, bishop and hermit of Lindisfarne who lived in Anglo-Saxon Northumbria. A respected and venerated figure in life.

St Aiden

Also know as Aidan of Lindisfarne and the Apostle of Nothumbria. He was an Irish monk and missionary who is said to have restored Christianity to Northumbria.
